Family Security Matters does not stand behind or endorse any candidate for president (or any other public office). However, as the President is also Commander-in-Chief and is responsible for setting national security policy, we will be publishing a variety of articles on both the Republican and Democrat candidates for President during this election year. As always, the opinions of our Contributing Editors are their own, and do not necessarily reflect those of Family Security Matters.
Through educating and inspiring Americans to become involved in protecting the United States, Family Security Matters hopes to stimulate a national discussion about the issues that are essential to the task. The United States does not belong to the lawmakers and national policy does not affect just the interest groups. This is our government and our country and it is up to us, as Americans, to shape it according to our values. As you learn more about the issues through this site, FSM also wants to provide easily accessible ways for you to make your voice heard and so we've created this page as a single location for all the information necessary for you to become personally involved. As we take what we have learned and demand that our voices be heard, we can help shape American policy to protect our communities and preserve our way of life.
The new legislation is not designed to shield those who recklessly or maliciously print libelous information, but would ensure that Americans are held to and protected by American standards.
